The first edition of the International Bike & hike Tourism Conference (IBTC) saw the light of day in 2020, in the run-up to the Fiets en Wandelbeurs in Utrecht. The conference brings together professionals from the tourism industry and stimulates the exchange of information on the development of bicycle and hiking tourism.

More than ever, active tourism is in the spotlight. It is a sustainable activity that also contributes to a healthy lifestyle. This branch of tourism is also increasingly generating income for tourist destinations.

But the development of active tourism has its own bumps and obstacles. The IBTC explains this and proposes solutions. Also, the IBTC presents case studies as an example. And of course the IBTC offers every opportunity for networking.
